Tempered Glass Garmin Instinct Screen Protector

Yes. It’s cut for the first-generation Garmin Instinct lens, shared by the Standard, Tactical and Esports editions and the Instinct Solar, including the Solar Camo and Surf. Three tempered glass protectors come in every kit, along with cleaning prep pads and microfibre cloths for preparing the screen. Fit one now and keep the other two as spares. If the glass picks up a deep scratch or a chipped edge, you can peel it off and apply a fresh one without buying another pack.

Clean, dry, align, press. Wipe the lens with a cleaning prep pad, dry it with a microfibre cloth, and lift off any remaining dust. Peel the backing from the glass, line it up with the edge of the display, then lower it and press from the centre outwards. Applying it in a dust-free room gives the cleanest result.

No. The original Instinct is controlled entirely by its buttons, not a touchscreen, so a glass layer over the lens changes nothing about how you use it. Wipe it with one of the included microfibre cloths to lift fingerprints and dust. For grime, use a soft damp cloth or a wet wipe, then dry the glass. Avoid abrasive cloths and harsh cleaners. If the glass becomes deeply scratched or chipped, replace it with one of the spares in the kit.
