The easiest check is on the watch itself: go to Settings > System > About and your exact model name is listed. You can also look at the engraving on the case back, or measure the case — the Fenix 6S is the compact 42mm watch in the Fenix 6 range. The good news is that the 6S, 6S Pro, 6S Sapphire and 6S Pro Solar all take the same 20mm bands, so everything in this collection fits all four. If your case measures 47mm or 51mm, you have a Fenix 6 or 6X instead, and we have dedicated collections for those models so you always land on the right fit.

It depends on the band, but in most cases it's a quick job. If your watch is currently wearing a Garmin QuickFit style band, press the release catch on the band and slide it sideways off the watch — no tools needed. Our quick change bands use quick release spring bars with a small slide lever on the underside: pull the lever back to release, then click the new band into the lug holes until it locks. If your existing band uses standard spring bars without a lever, a small spring bar tool makes removal much easier and protects the case from scratches. Metal styles like the Boss stainless link band also have an extra one-time step — adjusting the links to suit your wrist — which is done with a link sizing tool.
