Fitting takes a few minutes, and the link tool you need for sizing is in the box. Remove your original band, refit your Instinct’s existing pins, then clip the band’s quick change adaptors onto them. Sizing means pushing out pins between links with the supplied tool, so there’s no need for a trip to a jeweller.

The band is made of stainless steel links with a stainless folding clasp. The polished finish sits well against the Instinct’s rugged case, so it suits the office as easily as the weekend. It gives a dressier feel than the original silicone strap while staying light enough to wear all day, and it comes in three colours.

Wipe it with a soft damp cloth, then dry it thoroughly, paying attention to the gaps between links where dust and sweat collect. A wet wipe works for a quick clean on the go. Avoid abrasive pads, metal polishes and harsh chemicals, which can dull the finish and scratch the polished surfaces.
